Tony Brunt has been valuing residential property for more than 40 years and first helped a homeowner buy his freehold in Small Heath which happened to comprise a shop with flat above on a 99 year lease. Oddly enough for leasehold reform purposes this building was a house even though it was clearly a shop with a flat above!
Since setting up in business we have helped thousands of homeowners in leasehold cases and also represented them at the Birmingham based First tier Tribunal when necessary - over 400 hundred hearings and probably more than any other local surveyor.
For many years Tony was a regular guest on the Ed Doolan show (BBC Radio West Midlands) providing advice and answering questions live on air concerning freehold purchases of houses.
By invitation Tony has given talks at conferences to other surveyors including the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, corporate estate agents and the Lease Advisory Service in both London and Birmingham.
